Damien Smith

Damien has spent more than 20 years working on magazines and websites dedicated to cars. A former editor-in-chief of Autosport and F1 Racing, he spent 11 years (over two stints) as editor of Motor Sport and has spent many happy days at race tracks reporting on his favourite sport, from Formula 1 to grass-roots club racing – and just about everything in between.

Contrary to the cocophony of his teenage years as a trombonist, and his still-terrible guitar playing, he is also a lover of music and a father of four.
